About the Artist
I was born in Rhode Island in 1974. Painting has been my
passion since I was a little girl. My love for two dimensional
design started in second grade when my teacher gave us
modeling clay to use for an art project. My hands had an
allergic reaction to the clay so my teacher allowed me to use
paints. From that day my passion was born.

I love painting people. You can tell a lot about a person when
you paint their portrait. Usually, I start by taking a series of
photographs and from those, choose a composition. Not only do
I  enjoy painting people, I paint portraits of pets as well.

Painting custom wall murals and abstract paintings for your
home is another joy for me. And people are happy knowing that
their piece is one of a kind.

I am inspired by almost anything, especially unusual things; a
crooked nose, a shaft of light  streaming through a water glass,
a pattern on a piece of fabric.

I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1996. I
now live and work out of my home in Uxbridge, Massachusetts
where I spend as much time as I can with my husband and our
two children.
